From the many guitar personas of MCH these tracks slide the needle more towards the rock end of the spectrum than jazz. But never fear the jazz is still there.
One particularly dark and bass line saturated original starts the album and is followed by some of MCH's favorite cover tunes from over the years. Approaches and genre's aside, this session captures a love of the guitar's sonic warmth and ability to sing. It also celebrates the masterful skills of these musicians to see a great tune and still wring out improvised deliciousness that is novel to the originals...
